regular SD cards, the miniSD card's nimble, portable data transfer makes
it ideal for portable electronic devices. The miniSD's smaller size (it
is about 40 percent of the size of a regular SD card) is designed for
use in newer mobile phones, which have memory-hungry features such as
built-in digital cameras, music download capability, and games.
MiniSD card uses an adapter that converts it into a regular-sized SD
card so that the card can be used with other SD-compatible devices, such
as digital cameras, MP3 players, and handheld computers. The adapter is
also great for using your miniSD card in card readers that accept SD cards
but not miniSD cards.
Crucial miniSD cards measure 0.8465 inches wide, 0.7874 inches high,
and 0.05512 inches thick (21.5 mm by 20 mm by 1.4 mm)
